Grace Thornhill
Recruit Profile
Team player and good feeder. Focused and determined, coachable, caring teammate with a strong lax IQ, lacrosse pioneer in Pompton Lakes.
I began playing lacrosse in 4th grade when my father started the youth program here in Pompton Lakes, and I developed a love for the sport. Lacrosse is still a relatively new sport at Pompton Lakes High School as we are in our 3rd year of existence and just completed our inaugural Varsity season. On my high school team I play midfield and our small program has allowed me to develop my skills quickly. I play attack on the Mad Dog NJ club team and I am very comfortable shooting and passing with both hands. I also run for the Varsity cross country team at PLHS. I am currently taking AP Chemistry, Honors English and Honors Pre-Calculus. I am a member of the Zonta club, which is a volunteer philanthropic organization, as well as a member of NHS. Also, after receiving my confirmation last year I continue as an active member of Christ Church Pompton Lakes providing volunteer nursery care services to the Pre-K children who are too young to attend Sunday School. I hope to play lacrosse in college and get a degree in Nursing.

Grace is a hardworking team player. A natural attacker with a high lax iq who works hard in the midfield transition and redefend. Works well without the ball with well timed cuts and a strong finish. Grace is extremely coachable and willing to do anything for her teams success!
