Gracie Lint
Recruit Profile
I am a fearless, dedicated lacrosse player who loves to continue to learn the game.
Being a goalie means a lot more to me than just being a goalie. It means being dependable on and off the field. As a teammate, I work hard to communicate with my defense, make the save, create insight into field transitions on the clear, and fully recover if necessary. My patient style of play is a large factor that makes me a good prospect. I have an amazing ability to see the whole field and direct my defense accordingly. My defense trusts me to guide them, which makes our teamwork a dynamic part of our game. This vision is a quality that sets me apart from other recruits. My build, reflexes, and stick work are also major keys that make me a suitable contender for a spot on a coach's roster.
My collegiate goals include playing for a highly competitive team with high academic expectations. Off of the field, I am known for my coachability, leadership, and academic performance. I have a 4.0/4.0 GPA in school and am taking Pre-AP courses in my eighth and ninth grade years. I am my school's National Junior Honor Society President, which is a big responsibility. I participate in my school's orchestra and Chamber Orchestra where I was awarded the first chair for my ability to play the bass. I volunteer regularly for my school community, church, and lacrosse organization. I am in my school's mentor program, to help new students adjust to our school. The volunteer opportunity that I enjoyed the most so far was being selected to coach the Special Olympics basketball team at my school. I was honored to be chosen and loved the experience. I have recently been chosen to be a Morgans Message Ambassador for my school to help spread awareness on mental health.
