Hi! My name is Gracie Pierce and I am currently a sophomore at Ocean City High School in Ocean City NJ.
I started playing lacrosse when I was 9 years old and haven't put my stick down since. I love volunteering and coaching the younger girls and helping them to fall in love the sport the way I did. I am a three- sport athlete: lacrosse, field hockey and swimming. I am a team player who always strives to be the best I can on and off the field. I am coachable, aggressive, fast, and a disciplined player.
During my freshman year, I was a varsity starter for our Cape Atlantic League Championship lacrosse team. I have played field hockey for the past two seasons and swam last year. I plan on returning to both sports in the upcoming seasons.
Furthermore, I am a member of the South Jersey Select Pink 2024 lacrosse team which plays year- round, and is based out of Moorestown, NJ. I currently play midfield, but I am more than capable of playing any position on the field. At almost 5 feet 9 inches tall, I am a draw control specialist and strong with both hands. I pride myself on my stick skills and lax IQ.
I have a younger sister and brother who also love to play lacrosse. I enjoy coaching and working with them on their skills whenever I have a chance. I strive to be a role model and mentor for them. With my family, school, and sports commitments, I have developed very good time management skills. These skills have allowed me to be an honor roll student while taking honors classes, and still fulfill my other commitments at high levels.
