Profile
Greg Stocks knows how to build lacrosse programs; that much is obvious.

After starting the UIndy men's lacrosse program from the ground up in 2015, Stocks has led the Greyhounds to four consecutive winning seasons. Stocks upped the ante in 2019, coaching the Greyhounds to a 16-3 overall record, earning a berth in the NCAA tournament in just the program's fourth season, and became the second-fastest team ever to reach the NCAA national semifinal.

The Greyhounds went a perfect 6-0 during GLVC play, earning the right to host and eventually win their second straight conference title. As a result, Stocks was named the league's coach of the year, the third time in his career he has received the award. UIndy became the fastest program to win multiple NCAA tournament games, downing Queens (NC) and Belmont Abbey in overtime to advance to the semifinal.

Parker Kump was named a USILA Third-Team All-American after totaling 83 points, while Matt Johnson and Shawn Kimble were listed as USILA All-America honorable-mention recipients.

Stocks led the Greyhounds to their first conference title in 2018, as UIndy downed Young Harris in the GLVC Championship Tournament final game. It was the first time the Hounds won double-digit contests, with Stocks leading the team to a regular-season final win at Limestone.

UIndy finished 7-6 overall in 2017, and was receiving votes in the USILA/Nike Coaches Poll as season's end. The Greyhounds faced a tough slate in Stocks' second season, and earned the program's highest-profile victory to date in a 9-4 win at No. 5 Lindenwood.

Half of UIndy's losses came against top-11 ranked teams, and all three came by just two goals. The Hounds capped their season with a narrow 14-12 defeat at No. 1 Limestone, the defending NCAA Division II runner-up.

Earlier in the year, Stocks' squad set the program standard for goals scored in a 25-5 rout over Ohio Valley.

Individually, Stock mentored Jarod Kimble to yet another stellar season as the Greyhound goalie. The sophomore led the nation in save percentage, and finished third in goals-against average.

In 2016, sporting 27 true freshmen on the roster, Stocks and company finished 8-6 overall and 5-3 in the Eastern College Athletic Conference, earning a spot in the conference's postseason tournament. For his efforts, Stocks was recognized as the ECAC Coach of the Year.

Notable wins for the Hounds in 2016 included stunning upsets against No. 17 Lindenwood (8-3) and No. 6 Lake Erie (9-7), Stocks' former program.
