Recruit Profile
I am a Defender, LSM & defensive middie with strong Lax IQ who can see plays unfold before they happen. Multi-sport scholar athlete with a relentless pursuit of the ball.

I currently play club lacrosse year round on a regional (Team Oregon and Lax NW Rippers) and select national (Team Eighteen) basis, playing nearly every minute of every game. I was selected for the All Stars team at the 2022 Western Shootout in July at the US Air Force Academy. I played on the Men's Varsity Lacross team at Jesuit HS in Portland, helping win the 2022 6A State title. I received the "Relentless Effort Award" my sophomore year on the JV squad. I also play elite competitive tennis, claiming state titles, as well as competitive golf (I was captain of the Middle School Golf Team), winning club and school championships and top awards. I ran on my high school Cross Country Team.

A scholar-athlete, I have been on the High School Honor Roll for the past 3 years, and have taken Honors level math courses (Algebra & Precalculus). I was a participant on the High School Ethics Bowl my sophomore year, and am a decorated musician in the HS concert band. I serve as a Jesuit HS Ambassador, and enjoy volunteering with Meals on Wheels, Food Bank of the Rockies, and Hands On Portland. I volunteered as a lacrosse and tennis mentor to underserved populations. Last summer I worked as a lacrosse coach for 8-14 year old campers.

Gus is an elite athlete, extremely competitive and versatile. Whether you need him at Close, LSM, or even Dmid he can play and compete at a high level. He’s great on ball but also and elite off ball defensemen, always putting himself in a position to help his teammate. He’s proven to be extremely coachable and disciplined. He’s playing with a lot of confidence and is well worth considering as a player/teammate that would add a ton to any program.

Gus Albright has a tremendous work ethic! As his fitness trainer, Gus is consistent and always willing to push himself to the next level of training. Gus is incredibly coachable, willing and able to make the correct adjustments to his form and technique. There are no issues when it comes to ego. His outlook towards himself and others is fair and balanced. His expectations of himself and others are both realistic. I have only seen footage of Gus in action on the field. He is a fierce defensive player, demonstrating a tremendous ability to change the direction of the game. I look forward to seeing him play in person.

Extremely reliable and competitive defender, Gus is an extremely talented long pole. Capable of taking on the number one attackmen. Communicates well with his teammates on field, ground ball machine with very accurate checks. ANY program would be lucky to have him on their squad. I can't say enough positive things of Gus not only as a player but as a leader. Very coachable, leads by example, puts his head down to do the work, never complains, and is an incredible teammate. I know the term 'work horse" can be over used, but that is absolutely what Gus is. He loves the game, he plays it right, and he loves to compete at a high level.
