An athletic multi-sport goalie with focus and poise in the goal that commands the defense and make stellar saves in
I began playing lacrosse with the Central Marin Lacrosse Club in second grade. At first, I was a midfielder and I occasionally took face offs. But I was always interested in the goalie position.
In fourth grade, I got the chance to play goalie. In my second game as goalie, the opposing coach worked with the travel club Team Norcal. I had no goalie coaching. He invited me to the team, and I played in a couple of tournaments with them.
I then joined the more local Madlax California. In my second season with Madlax, they didn’t have enough players for a U-13 (2020) team, so I played up in the U-15 (2019) age group. At the 3D Riptide at Oceanside lacrosse tournament I picked up 3 MVP balls from opposing coaches, and made the all-star team.
In seventh grade, I began playing with the Southern Marin Lacrosse Club. My coach was Peter Langkammerer of St. Ignatius College Prep. I currently play on coach Langkammerer's Norcal Braves 2019 team.
In the summer of 2015 I played indoor lacrosse with the Southern Marin Blackwolves.
In the summer of 2016 I attended the G3 goalie camp at Avon Old Farms, CT. I was coached by Adam Ghitelman and John Galloway. Locally in California I am coached by Andrew Gvozden.
I am also a starting player in JV football as a middle linebacker and wide receiver. I have been playing basketball for several years and will continue in high school.
I am an A student.

Great composure allowed Guy to log effective varsity minutes as a freshman. Has a natural ability to stop the ball with great upside as his technique improves. Very coachable as evidenced by the way he incorporated coaching suggestions into his game. A real "keeper".

Guys hands and eyes are so quick to the ball, it's crazy to see from a freshman. His IQ on clearing are well beyond his age! Great goalie! Great kid with a goalie personality!
