I started playing lacrosse in 5th grade after a long run of playing competitive soccer. I liked the camaraderie and great coaching at our local rec club so decided to give travel lacrosse a try. I've loved playing at the competitive level ever since then and haven't looked back. I've played consistently year round for the last five years. I primarily play defense but do enjoy playing midfield as well. For both my freshman and sophomore year, I've played field hockey and water polo and in addition varsity lacrosse. I've been a starting varsity player as a freshman and sophomore. Academics are a very important aspect in my life. I have a cummulative GPA of 4.12. I am in advanced courses such as latin, math, biology, biomedical studies and english. I'm taking two AP classes this year, european history and latin. When I have some down time from sports, I volunteer at the San Diego Humane Society. I also work as a youth lacrosse referee.
