Haleigh Albrecht
Recruit Profile
Extremely coachable, dedicated, strong work-ethic, unselfish player, versatile 2-way Midfielder who also plays Attack. Extremely strong and accurate shot placement. Good size, speed and strong stick skills. 4.03 GPA.
I have been playing lacrosse since I was 8 years old. During my sophomore year at Pine-Richland High School, I was a starting mid-fielder and one of the teams top scorers, which helped lead my school to the #2 ranking in in the WPIALs and the top 16 in the state of Pennsylvania.
I finished my sophomore year with 30 goals, 8 assists, 43 draw controls, 22 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers, and was a key leader for my team on and off the field.
I feel that my size and speed allow me to help me in creating separation on my dodges on offense and playing tight man to man defense. I am very comfortable dodging from the top or from behind the cage and using both hands as a provider or finisher. I would say my strongest asset is my ability to finish with strong, decisive and precise shooting with both hands.
Off the field I challenge myself academically and maintain a 4.0 GPA. I achieved the distinction of Merit Scholar for all four quarters in 7th and 8th grade and have been awarded the distinction of Highest Honor Role in 9th, 10th and 11th grade. This year I took 2 AP courses and 1 honors course, including AP Biology, AP English, Honors History, Organic Chemistry, Pre Calculus and French IV. I recently earned a 5/5 on my AP English-Composition exam as well as a 4/5 on my AP Biology exam.
In addition to sports and school I am involved with several clubs and group organizations. I am a member of the Student Government, Peer-to-Peer Group, and Young Life.
