I have been playing lacrosse my whole life because my mom played at Duke and was then a high school coach. I started on my HS Varsity team as a freshman midfielder and ended the season with 28 goals and over 100 draw controls. I am very comfortable dodging and finishing with both hands and pride myself on my man-on-man defense, especially around the crease. I also started on Varsity for field hockey 2 years in a row, and helped my team win a state championship with the first goal. In school, I am in all advanced classes and have been high honors every semester. I work a part time job year round and also am a leader for a community outreach program in my town. Every year we must complete at least 15 hours of community service, and then go a week long mission trip to help those in need.
