I am a three sport athlete (Field Hockey, Swimming & Lacrosse). I started playing lacrosse when I was 7 years old. I played JV lacrosse as an 8th grader and I have been a varsity starter since my freshman year. I think my coaches will tell you that I have excellent stick skills, but I am also a hard worker who enjoys disrupting plays on defense, getting after ground balls and helping facilitate for my teammates. I took 90% plus of our teams draws my freshman year and that was a huge learning moment for me where I learned to be a lot more mentally tough. This season, I have matured more as a player and become more confident and more of a leader. Statistics wise, I finished with 42 goals and 26 assists this season (2019) and I average about 58% on the draw.
Lacrosse is my favorite sport, but I am also a strong Field Hockey player. I really enjoy the discipline of swimming and while I take a more laid back approach to swimming, I was a NEC All-Conference swimmer and my relay team qualified for the State tournament. In addition to athletics, I am a strong student achieving high honors while taking honors level Spanish, English and History. I'm planning on taking AP Language and AP U.S History courses my junior year. I have really started to develop a love for history, political science and languages. So, I'm starting to narrow down my college search to larger schools with strong Political Science and History programs.
