Heather Clark
Recruit Profile
A passionate, aggressive, multi-sport athlete with a strong lacrosse IQ-disciplined, quickfeet, great endurance and a coachable team player. 4.0 GPA.
Hi, I am Heather and a 2022 multi-sport rising junior with an academic 4.0 GPA, and I love the game of lacrosse. I am the youngest of four, with two of my siblings being D1 lacrosse student-athletes. Even though my season was canceled, I am constantly challenging myself with new workouts that have become somewhat of a family competition. One of my best sports attributes would probably be my speed and endurance. I run midfield for my high school and play defense for my club team and can use both my left and right hands comfortably. I have been playing lacrosse for 9 years and field hockey for 5 years, making varsity as a freshman for both. One of my most exciting moments in lacrosse was winning the CT State Championship and the SWC/Patriot league championship last year with my best friends. Last summer, I spent almost every weekend playing lacrosse and met so many great teammates from all over. I was part of the Under Armour Conny Command team, the US Lacrosse Womens National tournament Team Connecticut #1, and the Maverick All-American National Lacrosse team New Jersey as well as my Gold Coast 2022 team.
For the past two years, I have been a starter for my field hockey team playing both forward and midfield. As a sophomore, I lead the team in goals and earned a postseason award of All-Conference All-Patriot. As a freshman, I earned All-Conference All-Academic, All-Conference Honorable Mention, and 2018 Varsity Rookie of the Year. I have also participated for 2 years with the USA Field Hockey Futures program for the Northeast and practiced with my club field hockey team.
Although I do not compete any longer due to other sports conflicts, I still love to run. In 2018, I was a 2x All-State hurdler and 2x All-Conference hurdler for my MS track and field, holding the club record for 4x100 with some of my teammates. I came in 3rd place in the 55m hurdles in the Connecticut State Middle School Championship. Currently, I am a Rebel Ambassador for my high school and have raised money for the local New Fairfield Veterans Association by selling homemade scarves. I am part of the science club, math club, Italian club, and also ski club for my highschool.
