I started playing lacrosse year round in 7th grade. After two years on JV I switched from Midfield to Defense for my junior season. In doing so I gained a spot on varsity, lettered, and made 2nd team all district. I also snowboard and surf. I will have completed two AP courses by the end of high school (World History and Environmental Science) and three DE courses (US History, DE English 12, and African Survey). Along with these courses I have taken 5 years of Spanish as well as multiple Honors classes. My professional goal is to become a Fisheries Biologist, and I have already started working toward that goal. This summer I got an internship with the lead fisheries biologist from the VDGIF for my district, and I have been working with him in the field on several projects. I also have work experience as a veterinary assistant at the Piedmont Equine Practice in The Plains, VA.
