My intro to lacrosse was in elementary school as an alternative to soccer. I played soccer on a club team. I wanted to try lacrosse again in middle school. I transferred my soccer experience into lacrosse. After a year on a recreation team, I successfully tried out for a club team. I made an immediate impact as a starting defensive player, able to easily switch hands.

I quickly earned recognition as the defensive team leader. I developed a passion for lacrosse and was asked to play on a 2nd team, which was a recreation team, to develop my shooting as an attacker. I was my recreation team's second leading goal scorer and assist leader.

Freshman year of high school
* made the Varsity lacrosse team and helped my teammates improve their defensive skills with knowledge from my club team
* played year round with my club team, starting in all games, constantly recognized as a leader on and off the field, directed the defense in our games, and was asked to demonstrate proper drills and help develop beginning players on a younger team.

Sophomore year on my high school Varsity team
*my position was changed to attack due to my stick skills and strong field sense/awareness
*was a starter in all scrimmages played and was the second leading scorer on the team.
I was devastated when our season was cancelled before my hard work could be shown in games. My club team has continued to have meetings and virtual practices during the COVID-19 shutdown and my coaches have had me develop and present defensive play strategies to my teammates.

*4.23 GPA, taking honor and AP classes
*honor roll, grades 6-present

I enjoy helping my community by volunteering for
*Bethesda Lacrosse, helping run clinics for beginning lacrosse players
*Operation Second Chance, for wounded Veterans
*Comfort Cases, for foster children
*during COVID-19, I organized a food drive and assembled masks for medical personnel

Always looking to further my skills and lax knowledge
*attend lacrosse camps at colleges during summer
*review game film after all my games
*analyze my plays with coaches and ask for feedback

I am excited to play in college and am interested in business and finance.
