I have been interested in lacrosse ever since the program was introduced to my town, and I started playing in the second grade. I have been a starting defender for our high school team since my freshman year, as well as with field hockey. I also participate in indoor winter track and field. I take pride in my crease and man-to-man defense and overall tenacious style of play on the field. I am a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and English Honor Society. My cumulative GPA is a 4.47 out of 4.0. At Westwood, I partake in honors and AP classes, and will continue to do so for my senior year. I volunteer at school events, recreational practices for the youth lacrosse teams in Washington Township, and the annual field hockey clinic directed by our coaches for future players. I have a high interest in veterinary studies and the sciences, and I have graciously been given the opportunity through my high school to intern at a local animal hospital this upcoming semester.
