Isabella Palmer
Recruit Profile
Captain, Leader, Coachable, Quick, High Lacrosse IQ, Determined Defender - Focused, Strong, Multi-Sport
I have been playing lacrosse for seven years and currently in my fifth year on the True Illinois State Team. I also spent one year on the 2022 True National Team. I was the only freshman picked to play on my varsity high school lacrosse team and received the Defensive MVP Award my freshman year. My junior year, I was named Captain and MVP. I will remain captain for my senior year.
I am a strong defensive player and pride myself on my amazing man-on-man defense. I have great positioning and I never let a point be uncontested. I excel with speed and field vision to quickly move the ball up field and generate momentum for the offense. I am an unselfish player, always looking for an available pass, but unafraid to shoot the ball myself.
I am a multi-sport athlete who has played soccer, ice hockey, gymnastics and lacrosse. As well as focusing on lacrosse, I am an accomplished Level 8 gymnast who spent 12 hours a week in the gymnastics gym along with practicing lacrosse with my state team during the week and on the weekends. I was one of the top vaulters on my gymnastics team and our team was awarded the 3rd place state title in Illinois.
In the fall of 2020, I decided to transfer to Western Reserve Academy due to Covid. I chose to attend Western Reserve because they are holding fully in-person classes and for their high academics. Boarding School has turned out to be an awesome experience and I am ready for college!
