I started playing lacrosse in Kindergarten (5). Originally, I had chosen to play attack and defense. However, at the end of 4th grade (10), I realized that my true calling was goalie. Currently, I play for 2 teams. This includes, my club team (Ultimate), and my school team (Germantown Friends School). I also student coach the 3/4 girls (8-10) for my township league and the 1/2 Girls (6-8). I started my high school lacrosse career in 8th grade, as the only 8th grader invited to play up that year. In ninth grade, I was a starter for our varsity team and one of the only freshman on varsity. I also play field hockey for my school. Although, I play defense instead of goalie for field hockey. Currently, I am a varsity starter for my high school team.
Academically, From 8th Grade to Sophomore year I took two languages (Latin and Spanish). Junior year, however, I made the decision to drop Latin and instead take two sciences (Adv. Chem and Biology). I still take Spanish (Adv.) as well as Adv. US History, Adv. English Lit, and a DIS (Directed Independent Study) in Biochemical research. Following this, I am a member of a couple clubs/groups- Captains Council (FH Captain), Aquaponics, Middle School Science Tutors, and Student Ambassadors.
