Jack McCarthy
Recruit Profile
Work ethic, IQ, athleticism, versatility, and love of game.
(This is the Bio for my brother Tyler Class of 2023) I have had a stick in my hand since early childhood. Having an older brother (class of 2020) I regularly played with bigger, stronger kids. This exposure prepare me for the opportunity to play for Coach Joe Spallina when I eventually tried out and made the 91 Bandits team. We have won numerous tournament championships, played in various National tournaments, and proudly won the World Championship in Denver during the summer of 2018. I have had equal success on the football field and even played basketball in Middle School. I was pulled up to play JV lacrosse as a 7th grader and started at the Varsity level as an 8th grader. I played JV football this last season where I split time between RB and QB, before I took over full duty at QB. I represented Suffolk County in the NYS Lacrosse Tournament during the summer of 2019, and was recognized for my efforts and contributions as an Honorable Mention player when I made the 2022-23 Underarmour All American team that same summer. I excelled in mathematics, and carry A 96 overall GPA in school. I enjoy swimming at the beach, listening to music, playing x-box, and spending time with my family and friends.

Brendan Chamberlain
Also a football player, McCarthy brings that mentality to the lacrosse field. A big, fast and strong defenseman, he's the captain of the defense and is very positionally-sound, and he's already a three-year starter for Connetquot. He's excelled at two showcases and the NLF Opening Weekend already.
