Jack Murray
Recruit Profile
Tough and physical two way player, Unselfish. Isn't scared of competition and is comfortable dodging from any location on the field. Aggressive and multi-sport athlete.
I started playing lacrosse at 8 years of age and have played numerous positions on the field but have been playing as a midfielder for the past several years. I enjoy the midfield position because I like to lead the transition offense while also contributing on the defensive side of the field. I made my High School Varsity team as a Freshman and as a Sophomore, was the 2nd leading scorer amongst the midfielders helping them win the Nassau County Conference 2 Championship with a 15-0 record. As a Junior, I was named captain and helped lead my team into the quarter finals while earning Nassau County All-Conference honors. I have participated and volunteered at the Shootout For Soldiers since the 4th grade and also volunteered at my community summer youth lacrosse camp. I am a 3 sport athlete playing Football, Basketball and Lacrosse. I am a member of the National Honor Society and both the English and Math Honor Societies.

Jack has been tremendous in how far he has come in the last 2 seasons. Someone that understands how to play team lacrosse and holds teammates accountable for not playing with the same mindset. Jack has taken the necessary steps to get his game where it needs to be and only has gotten better in every tournament this summer. I expect big things out of him and know he will be an immediate impact wherever he goes, regardless of the role he is given. Very good decision making, a solid two-way option, and a very good time in room shot are the traits that make up his game.
