I started playing lacrosse at age 6 and learned in my ES and MS years from my dad, a D3 All-American close defenseman. 2014-2018 with Anne Arundel Youth Lacrosse Club exchange with England. Two 2 week summer tours to play England teams and 2 tours hosting an England player. I started my HS career at St. Mary's HS in Annapolis MD where I was awarded a Leadership Scholarship and contributed to a playoff run for the MIAA A JV lacrosse team my sophomore year where I was a team chaplain leader. I played for Prostart Lacrosse club during my time at St. Mary's and led my team to two tournament championships last summer in 2019. I volunteered for the Blue Ribbon Project, Holiday fundraiser and canned food drive at St. Mary's while taking Honors English and Honors Art History courses throughout my sophomore year. Member of Student Ambassadors Club. Worked the gas dock at Smith's Marina. My family moved in August 2019 to Lake Forest, IL for my dad's new job and I started junior year fall ball and lax team workouts for Lake Forest HS. I just started with True Illinois club lax and have been a leader for my team on and off the field while taking Honors English, Honors Law and Honors Geoscience and maintaining a B+ average at my new school. I am a member of the Investment Club at LFHS. I completed an internship at Team Works sports media in Chicago as part of my school's "Open Doors" project. My leadership qualities, athleticism and lacrosse IQ from my years in MD lacrosse are valued and utilized where I am depended upon to make big plays and a fixture on the field with my club team. My team mates depend on me for coming up with the ground balls and leading quick transitions. I have been told by my coaches that I have very good position defense through the use of my footwork and physical field presence. I have learned and applied consistent one on one defense technique and it is something I'm proud of. I look forward to being a leader and playmaker on the Lake Forest HS Varsity team. I'm passionate about the game and lifting up and leading my team mates to success.

Jackson is a hard working player who is always open to feedback and is constantly improving. He is the type of player any coach should want in their program. For a more detailed endorsement of Jackson please reach me at 847-471-1048 or gharty@truelacrosse.com.

Coming from a top High School program, we assumed Jackson was well coached and technically sound. Jackson as a person is outstanding and we are extremely happy he will be finishing his HS career as a Lake Forest Scout.

I have had the pleasure of coaching Jackson for 2 years while he attended St. Mary's HS in Annapolis, MD. I am disappointed to see him leave the area as a Junior in the 2020 spring season as he was looking to have a big year for our program.
