Jacob Farrell was named Assistant Mens Lacrosse coach in August of 2022 and will coach his first season in Demorest in the spring of 2023.

Farrell comes to Piedmont after spending this past season as an assistant coach at Division III Muhlenberg College. This past season, Farrell helped the Victors to a 9-6 overall record and a 5-3 mark in the Centennial Conference.

Beginning his coaching career at the high school level, Farrell spent time at Bishop Shanahan High School in southeast Pennsylvania, helping the school capture back-to-back PIAA Class 2A State Championships and producing multiple Division I athletes in the process.

Farrell has spent time developing his coaching skills at the Lacrosse Evolution training facility under the direction of lacrosse legend Tom Slate.

For four years, Farrell served in the United States Navy before being honorably discharged in 2020.

As a player, Farrell has a Division III background, competing for four years at Susquehanna University, helping his team to a pair of Landmark Conference Championships in 2013 and 2014.

Farrell will assist Head Coach Tim Dunton in all facets of the program.
