I started playing lacrosse when I was 10 years old. As I played throughout the years, I continued to grow and develop my footwork and stick skills, and due to my size and strength, switched from midfield to defense/LSM. In these positions I excelled at picking off skip passes in the air and was able to control my side of the field through my physical play. When I entered high school, during my freshmen year I made the Varsity lacrosse team. In addition to lacrosse, I've played on the high school basketball and soccer teams, and would have been a 4 sport athlete this year, if football had been allowed to play. In addition to my other classes, I am taking AP English Language. I started a backyard lacrosse training program during the pandemic to continue growing the sport of lacrosse in my town. My program - named "ReLax" - taught dozens of local kids how to play the sport and improve. I taught children ranging in age from 5 to 15. The program also provided a safe activity for kids in these hard times when organized sports were shut down.
