Jacy Sterritt enters her first season as assistant women's lacrosse coach at UChicago in the 2022-23 academic year.

At the collegiate level, Sterritt previously held assistant coach positions at Shippensburg University (2021-22) and Lycoming College (2020-21). She specialized on the defensive half of the field, which included Defensive Coordinator duties at Shippensburg. She worked closely with the draw units at both institutions as well.

Sterritt also spent five years coaching the Dynamite Lacrosse Club in Royersford, Pa.

In her undergraduate career, Sterritt played lacrosse for the University of Tampa (NCAA Division II). The Spartans achieved a ranking of No. 3 in the nation during the 2019 season, which also featured the program’s first conference title. Sterritt played in 42 games, primarily at defender. She went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in international studies in 2020.
