Lacrosse was not my first love (bet you don't hear that often as an opener). Football was where it all started for me and I continue today as a multi-sport athlete in both sports. While it was my football buddies who encouraged me to first try Lacrosse in the off-season at the age of 10, little did I know at that time it would become the sport that I live and die for and play almost year-round. My first year playing, I tried out for and made a travel team named Chaos Lacrosse out of south central PA. During the first few years on the field, I played "up" as my speed and size were much greater than others my age. At age 11, I played with the top team of 2021's at Chaos Lacrosse. Beginning at age of 12, I moved to the Maryland Rock lacrosse league and again played up with the elite squad of 2021's for 2 seasons. Knowing that at some point I would have to return to playing with my age group, I moved to the 2022 team at age 15 playing primarily defense but am also a strong force at mid field and LSM. I have had the honor of playing with and being selected for many all-star teams in the tournaments I participated in. Last summer I was one of four 2022's selected by our Coach to attend a recruiting camp at UNC. I was also selected for the 2022 All Star Summer Slam Team at Goucher College. My breakaway speed on clears makes me great for starting fast breaks, shifting the game and setting up the offense. My sheer strength and quick lateral movement also has made me a threat on defense for any attack player. In addition to my accomplishments on the lacrosse field, I am a starting varsity football player on both sides of the ball as linebacker and running back. Academically, I am a good student and take math honors classes at school. I have elected to take leadership classes at school to hone my natural leadership skills and make me a better leader on the sports field, as all of my prior coaches have appreciated my leadership potential. I also participate on Executive Council for my school, leading initiatives for my class, the student body of 2022.
