Your ability to play Offense, Defense, Man-up, Man-down, and Face-off was remarkable ..." Ryan Boyle
I am a well-rounded athlete. Besides playing lacrosse since 3rd grade, I was the Center for football from 3rd grade through freshman year, as well as Co-Captain of my football team. I have been swimming competitively since the age of 5. I am also a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. I believe this shows that I am a leader and disciplined in whatever I do, and I would enjoy the commitment it takes to be a collegiate athlete.
I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade where I played attack (X) for 6 years and switched to midfielder when I started taking face-offs in 9th grade. Since I have experience at other positions, I have a high awareness and skill set for the game so the coach can have confidence in my abilities after the face-off.
I started taking face-offs with no prior experience as a Freshman winning 90%, then I would run down and play attack where I always had played. As a Sophomore I took every face-off for the Varsity team and won 78.5% and started playing middy and was on the man-up unit. Summer as a rising junior, I won 80% of my face-offs in 4 tournaments. Spring of Junior year, I was starting OM & won 77% FO (206/260) with 10G,9A,44GBs. My high school won Leagues and was Team of the Year. I was selected as a NJ States Player to Watch, 1st Team All League, & 3rd Team All County. Summer as a rising senior, I played 49 games and went 420/550 on face-offs - 76%. I also made 3 All Star Games at Gait Cup, UA Shootout, and Battle of the Hot Beds.
I believe my background and hard work in other sports has led me to become a successful face-off specialist because of the timing, quick hands, and physicality of playing Center; the endurance and toughness from swimming; and the balance, focus and discipline from Tae Kwon Do.
I am an Honors student, Peer Leader, and member of Student Council, and Varsity and Club swimmer. My senior year I was elected Executive Council and Captain of the Varsity Lacrosse and Swim teams. I dedicate myself not just to sports but to academics as well and have a 3.73 gpa, 30 ACT, and 1910 SAT.

Jimmy is not one to sit and talk about what he is going to do, but instead actually goes out and achieves his goals. He lets his work speak for itself, choosing to be a leader and remarkable role model for his peers and teammates.

Craig Buckley
Jimmy is an extremely hard worker that is motivated both on the field and in the classroom. This past year, Jimmy did an outstanding job for us at the faceoff X. His determination to be successful makes him a valuable recruit for any college coach.

Brian O'Rorke
Jimmy is an extremely hard working, mature young man. He is truly dominant at the face-off x and he can single handedly change the flow of a game. In addition to facing-off, Jimmy is an offensive threat off the dodge.

Kyle Ojakian
Jimmy is a tremendous young man with a gift for the faceoff x. Jimmy is almost automatic at the faceoff x and gives our team a huge advantage. He is a constant worker in practice and in games and I believe he will be a valuable college player.
