I started playing lacrosse at the age of six. I have been the leading scorer on my club lacrosse team since I started playing on it two years ago. I am a righty, but I'm comfortable dodging from anywhere, with any hand. I pride myself on my high to low stepdown shot. I will be taking AP US history and Business Law Honors next year. I am in the American heroes Club and Key Club at my school, and I volunteer at soup kitchens and the local pre-school over the summer. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2011, and I've been running a campaign called "Jared's Journey" to raise money, through the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
