Profile
Jason Longo joined the Morrisville State men’s lacrosse program as head coach in the fall 2009 and in seven seasons at the helm of the program.

Following a historical 2015 season for the Mustangs, Longo and his staff continued the success from the previous season and again dominated the NEAC en route to their fifth regular season title, and second straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.

The success of the Mustangs in 2016 led to an overall 13-3 record, and a fifth undefeated NEAC record of 8-0, as well as recognition by his peers as the 2016 NEAC Coach of the Year, for a fourth time in his career. Morrisville State also swept major conference awards with Rookie (Nick Geswaldo), Offensive (Louie Geswaldo) and Defensive (Chris Fiore) Player of the Year accolades as they landed a program best nine on the All-Conference teams.

The 2015 season was a historical one for Longo's program, as they captured the NEAC Tournament title to earn the men's program its first ever bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.

The Mustangs finished the season with an 11-6 overall record, posting their fourth undefeated NEAC season in program history at 8-0, and their fourth regular season NEAC title.

Longo's efforts with the Mustang squad in 2015 earned him NEAC Coach of the Year honors, along with several All-Conference selections, including NEAC Defensive Player of the Year in goalkeeper Chris Fiore.

During his time at the helm of the program, Longo has guided the Mustangs to a total five overall NEAC regular season titles and has appeared in the NEAC Championship Tournament each season.

After struggling in the 2013 season, Longo brought the Mustangs back to the top of the conference ranks in 2014, finishing with a 13-4 overall record, 6-1 in NEAC action, and their third appearance in the Championship Finals. Seven earned post-season recognition for their efforts on the field, as well as several receiving academic accolades as scholar-athletes.

Longo also coached Morrisville State's first ever NCAA Statistical Champion behind Chris Fiore's performance in net. Fiore is the 2014 NCAA Division III statistical champion for goals-against average.

In 2012, Longo led the Mustangs to an 11-5 overall record, and for the third straight season, a perfect 7-0 conference record, claiming the regular season title. The team also earned a post-season bid to the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship Tournament, reaching the semi-finals for first time in the history of the program.
