Jenny (Wirth) Pawlowski enters her first season as the Women's Lacrosse Head Coach at Wheeling Jesuit in 2019.

Pawlowski came to Wheeling Jesuit after serving as the interim head coach at her alma mater Edinboro last season.

Pawlowski served as an assistant coach at Shippensburg University in 2017. She assisted with the team's game-day preparations and provided assistance with practice duties as well as recruitment and scouting. She also served as a student-athlete academic advisor, leading to a team-best GPA of 3.34 for the spring 2017 semester.

The Raiders finished with a 7-9 record and had three All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) performers, with two players setting school records.

Before turning to the collegiate coaching field, Palowkski directed the younger teams of Lanco Elite Lacrosse Club and Xtreme Lacrosse Club, both in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, as well as, the Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club. She started her coaching career in 2015 as the head junior varsity girls’ lacrosse coach at Peters Township in McMurray, Pennsylvania.

Among her extensive work experience in strength and conditioning includes service as a sports performance coach at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, where she developed personalized programs for athletes of all ages. Pawlowski also assisted in occupational therapy at the UPMC Centers for Rehab Services and worked as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of Pittsburgh.

Pawlowski was a four-year letter-winner from 2011-14 at Edinboro. She played in 59 career games, primarily in the midfield, and totaled 47 goals and 95 draw controls. Her top season came as a senior in 2014 when she started all 16 matches and finished with 24 goals. She added 17 goals as a junior.

A standout in the classroom, as well, she was a four-year PSAC Scholar-Athlete and a two-time Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll recipient.

A native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of Baldwin High School, Pawlowski graduated magna cum laude from Edinboro in 2014 with a bachelor of science degree in Health and Physical Education – Human Performance while also obtaining a minor in Athletic Coaching. She also completed a master of science in sport management from California University of Pennsylvania.
