Profile
Jennifer, who has served in a coaching capacity for Temple lacrosse for 7 of the last eight years, was elevated to associate head coach in the summer of 2015.

Wong returned to Temple full-time after a year-long stint as the head coach at Immaculata University. In 2009-10, Wong led the Mighty Macs to their most successful season to date. Immaculata qualified for the Colonial States Athletic Conference Tournament for the first time in the program's history as the sixth seed with a 5-11 overall and 3-5 CSAC mark.

Wong also guided the Mighty Macs to a program-best four all-conference selections in 2010 as three players garnered second team all-CSAC honors and another earned honorable mention accolades.

During Wong’s previous years with the Owls as a graduate assistant, she helped guide them to the 2008 NCAA Tournament after winning the Atlantic 10 regular season and tournament titles.

In addition to Wong's coaching duties at Temple, she serves as the chairperson for the IWLCA Outreach Committee that focuses on diversity and minority development. As part of the committee, she runs Project IRM, a program to Identify, Recruit and Mentor minority women's lacrosse coaches. Each year, Wong writes a grant to receive money from the NCAA's Matching Grants for the Advancement of Minority Women Coaches.

Before joining the Owls’ staff in the fall of 2007, Wong was previously an assistant coach at Rutgers for two seasons. While with the Scarlet Knights, Wong worked primarily with the Rutgers’ goalies and defensive unit. In her two years at RU, the squad improved from an unranked team with a 7-9 record in 2006 into an IWLCA 17th-ranked team with a 12-5 record in 2007.

Wong entered the coaching ranks following her playing days at the University of Connecticut, where she was a goalkeeper for then-head coach Bonnie Rosen. A four-year letterwinner from 2001-05, Wong helped the squad to the 2005 ECAC Championship and a No. 15 national ranking.

In addition to receiving her bachelor’s degree in business administration from UConn, she also received her master’s degree from Temple in sport and recreation administration.
