I’m an 18 year old Senior who has been playing lacrosse since summer 2013 when my military family moved from Germany to Virginia. Within weeks of arriving I attended my first lacrosse camp and my passion was born.
In the year and a half since summer I have played lacrosse year-round for a high school team as well as club lacrosse and took advantage of summer leagues and camps.
My hard work, determination, strong defensive play and lax IQ have earned me placement on the HS Varsity team as a captain, as well as the club elite team within a short time. Lacrosse has quickly become major part of my life and I feel I only have more potential to excel and continue. I also have been weight and strength training to increase my athleticism and have made wall ball a routine. I enjoy the physical aspect and energy of the game, but mostly the great sportsmanship and friends you make along the way. In my off time I enjoy fishing, kayaking, and being outside with family and friends.
My focus and discipline has also allowed me to be successful in my school, Ocean Lakes. My current GPA is a 3.8 average and includes completion of honors and this year AP classes. I attend the Advanced Technology Center and will attend it during my senior year. I also plan to graduate with an advanced high school diploma. My long term goal is to study Architecture and/or Engineering in college.
