DeCarlo joined the Chestnut Hill College men’s lacrosse coaching staff in the fall of 2017.

Over his collegiate career, DeCarlo totaled 22 grounds balls and 14 caused turnovers, while making16 starts in 29 games. He has remained extremely active in the lacrosse world, serving as a tournament staff member at various tournaments and coaching defense at several local high schools, as well as, the Keystone Montgomery County Lacrosse Team (2012-present).

DeCarlo transferred from McDaniel College to Chestnut Hill College for the 2014 season, but his presence was not felt until the 2015 campaign. As a sophomore (2015), DeCarlo appeared as a defensive reserve in 10 contests, recording a ground ball and a caused turnover. His best season in the Scarlet and Gold came the following year (2016), as he totaled 12 ground balls and seven caused turnovers while making 11 starts in 13 games.

In addition to his contribution to the field, DeCarlo was a highly-decorated academic. As a biology major and a double minor in environmental sciences and molecular biology, he was a three-time recipient of the Division II (DII) Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award (2012-2013, 2015-2016, 2016-2017), a four-time member of the East Coast Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll (2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017), and a seven-time member of both Chestnut Hill College Athletics Academic Honor Roll (fall 2013, spring 2014, fall 2014, spring 2015, fall 2015, spring 2016, fall 2016) and the Chestnut Hill College Dean’s List (spring 2013, fall 2013, spring 2014, fall 2014, spring 2015, fall 2015, spring 2016).

DeCarlo’s employment in lacrosse includes various tournament staff positions at the Victory Event Series (2016-present), Adrenaline Lacrosse (2015-present), Nxtsports Inc. (2015-present), Advance Protection Company (2014-present), and the Philadelphia Central Board (2010-present). He has also served as a defensive coach at both Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (2013-2015) and Upper Marion High School (2015-2016), in addition to his position with the Keystone Montgomery County Lacrosse Team.

Graduating magna cum laude in 2017, DeCarlo earned his bachelor’s degree from Chestnut Hill College in biology. He currently resides in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
