Recruit Profile
Playmaking, coachable, multi-sport athlete, with passion for lacrosse. Dedicated to the simple goal of making the team and teammates better.

I am a 2-sport varsity athlete (lacrosse and soccer) at my high school. In both sports, I play midfield where I embrace the role of a "playmaker." I am happiest when I am able to do things on the field that make my teammates better and our team successful. On the mental side of the game, I take pride in having good "field vision" and I rarely miss finding open teammates. My strongest athletic traits are my speed and quickness. My greatest technical strengths are passing and dodging. I enjoy working on my game both in practice and on my own. Over the past three years, I have worked in particular on my dodging. This past year (my first year as a varsity starter) our team finished 6-10, which exceeded preseason projections. I felt I played a key role in that success as the team leader in assists. For next season, my team goal is to help improve on last year's success by making both our conference and state playoffs (we just missed both last year). My personal goals are to increase my strength, improve my shooting speed and goal-scoring, and maintain my passing and playmaking skills.

In the classroom, my favorite courses are in the social sciences. I have grown steadily as a student over the past three years and my grades have gotten stronger each year. In June of this past year, I was honored to be selected to participate in the Boys State Program through the American Legion. It is the highest extracurricular academic award I have earned and I am looking forward to participating in the program next summer. At the Morgan School, I have taken several advanced placement and early college experience courses in marine science, English, and US government. This year, I plan to take similar courses in English, environmental science, and statistics. My professional goal is to work in sports marketing and my ideal college experience would be one where I have the opportunity to earn a degree in this area while participating in college lacrosse.
