At age 10, I picked up my first lacrosse stick as an attacker/defender. With eagerness and dedication, I learned the game quickly, mastering stick work with both hands. One year later, I tried out for my club team (PA Express 2022 Orange) where I trained and stepped up as goalie. My experience as a field player helped me to develop my skills as a goalkeeper. As a freshman and sophomore at Downingtown East High School, I played with the varsity team. I am a scholar-athlete, taking a rigorous course load of AP Environmental Science and honors classes while maintaining a weighted GPA of 3.92 (3.7 unweighted GPA). In addition, I have a strong commitment to my school, church, and local community as well. My extracurricular activities include membership in the Downingtown East High School chapter of the National Honor Society and I am an officer of Science Buddies (club to develop and nurture a love of science in local elementary school students). I am an active member of the Student Council and Best Buddies (a club that mentors students with special needs). I also work hands-on as a regular volunteer with many community outreach programs (Chester County Food Bank, Helping Hands of Chester County, and The Philadelphia Project) through my local church and Youth Group.
