Prior to UC, Nicholson, a Ontario, Canada native, spent for years playing at NCAA DII Chowan. There she played midfield and defense for the Hawks, Nicholson started all 3 games she played in recording 69 ground balls and 43 caused turnovers over her career.

Nicholson excelled in the classroom at Chowan, graduating in May 2021 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing. She earned numerous academic accolades including being named to the Conference Carolina Presidential Honor Roll, NCAA DII ADA Academic Achievement Award, and being part of the IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity be able to coach along side Coach Buikus," said Nicholson. "I am excited to be apart of this team and be apart of the growth and development.”

Nicholson is currently pursuing her MBA at Cumberlands.
