Coachable, team player with strong Lax IQ - disciplined, determined, and aggressive athlete. Leader on and off the field with a great work ethic.
I started playing lacrosse in 5th grade, was a co-captain in my 8th grade season, and was on varsity as a freshmen (1 of 4). My best skills are my stick skills, defense, and communication. My unweighted GPA is 4.84, as a sophomore, I am taking 2 AP classes (Latin and U.S. History), and have 40+ service hours.

Katherine Bowers
Josie is a dependable and committed teammate who, as only a sophomore, will be an important member of our defense this spring ('22). She has great defensive positioning for individual defense, but also excels at team defense. She is very vocal on and off the field- using her communication to lead her teammates. Josie is one of those players that feels like an extra coach on the field - effectively understanding and then communicating any game plan or strategy. I'm excited to watch her continue to grow in the next few years!
Andrea Setser
Josie is able to create plays all over the field. She is a strong defender who has great instincts and sees the field very well. She is working on growing her skills in the midfield as well as on the attacking end of the field. Josie is a joy to coach and work with as she is always trying to get better through working hard at practice, asking questions and continuously looking for feedback. Coming into her own as a leader on the field & in the huddle!
