I have been playing lacrosse since the 4th grade, I started playing club lacrosse in 5th grade as a middie and then I was switched to attacker in 8th grade, with my elite stick skills and my ability to catch the ball all around me, coupled with my hard shooting, and accuracy with both hands. (The last time my shots were tested they were 71 mph righty and 67 mph lefty. I am very comfortable playing low around the crease, or from up high, going hard to the cage, and finishing from any direction, with either hand.
I have been training for the last 4 off seasons with a local trainer who specializes in strength and conditioning training for athletes, and has special hybrid training groups for just female lacrosse players.
My overall shooting percentage is about 66%. I redefend like a defensive player, my assists, forced turn overs, and ground balls are always 3rd or 4th on the team.
I made my HS starting varsity lacrosse team my freshman and sophomore years as an attacker, and I have been playing on the top team in my club lacrosse since 5th grade.
I have made high honor roll all 8 terms in HS so far, and I have a 3.7 GPA through my sophomore year.
I have volunteered coaching in our towns youth lacrosse teams for the past 4 years, as well as with my HS team for Harlem Youth Lacrosse when they come every summer.
I also enjoy playing field hockey in the fall, my freshman and sophomore years, and my freshman year I tried indoor winter track where i ran the 50m and 300m. I also threw the shot put, and broke my HS indoor freshman girls record by over a foot with a throw of 24'-10.5"
I hope to study business in college, and to get to play lacrosse at a high level as well.
