Recruit Profile
Coachable, determined, and hardworking multi-sport athlete. Always gives 100% effort, learns quick, and a team player

I started playing lacrosse when I was 10 and finished with a varsity letter my 8th-grade year. I have been a starter for the varsity team since I was a sophomore(freshman year season was canceled due to covid). My sophomore year, we were conference champions, and I contributed on the defensive end with turnovers and groundballs, finishing with 33 at the end of the season. I serve as a junior captain on my school's varsity team and have helped lead and build our new girl's lacrosse program. We had previously been part of a co-op, but it dissolved following my sophomore year. I have the experience and skill to lead and teach athletes that are entirely new to the sport. I play varsity soccer, and in my junior year, we were conference champions and ranked second in our state section. I attend an academically rigorous high school where I take all advanced and honors classes. I am very interested in mathematics and statistics and hope to pursue further studies in these topics in college. Within school, I serve as a freshman mentor and was one of the few juniors selected to serve. I am part of my grade-level leadership councils. I participate in my school's Math Team, Asian Student Alliance, and Game Club. During my freshman year, I founded a Storytime with a former librarian and neighborhood mailman that meets bi-weekly during the summer. We have put together events for the State Fair, Olympics, and Halloween Parades that include activities and student volunteers from my school. During the Halloween Parade the summer before my junior year, over 60 families attended and participated. My work experience includes babysitting for 5 families on a weekly schedule and nannying for two families throughout the summer. I am also a dog walker/sitter for 6 families, including sitting during vacations throughout the summer and fall for 1-2 weeks. Throughout my sophomore year, I worked to connect with various middle schools throughout the Twin Cities and created an Intro To Engineering Program for less privileged middle school girls. With that program, girls were introduced to the different engineering fields but discovered untraditional careers that may not have been thought to be associated with engineering. The program brought in experience female professionals who talked to the girls, and each session ended with an experiment lab.
