I started playing lacrosse when I was about 7. I used to play on the offensive end as an attacker, but then realized my passion was to defend when I started to play club lacrosse. I play now for my club team Elevate and am on the Blue 2021 team. Ground balls and cause turnovers are my specialty and I am very comfortable with bringing up the ball on clears. Today i am a sophomore playing on the Varsity field hockey team at Garden City. I am currently taking a honors Spanish class in school. Additionally, i participate in other art and music classes. I enjoy participating in the annual Thanksgiving food deliveries to the elderly as well as the annual turkey trot that raises money for both leukemia and muscular dystrophy each year. Just recently I have experienced winning States for my towns varsity field hockey team! I was Captain of the JV GC LAX team this year and started in all games. Our team went 11-2 this year.
