Julie Cross joined the Cabrini coaching staff in August 2019 as an assistant coach for both field hockey and women's lacrosse.

Cross joins the Cavaliers after completing a successful collegiate career at Syracuse University.

During her four years at Syracuse, the Orange went 59-28 overall, including 16 victories in the Atlantic Coast Conference, two appearances in the ACC championship game, and four NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the Final Four in 2016.

A midfielder, who specialized in draw controls, Cross amassed 16 points and 12 goals during her career to go with 82 draw controls in 60 contests.

The Oreland, PA native began her coaching career in 2017, leading a pair of high school lacrosse clubs. Cross directs the Salt City Snipers in Syracuse and the Big 4 HHH in Philadelphia, where she organizes year-round practices and tournaments and assists players and families with the college recruiting process.

Cross was just as successful in the classroom, where she was named to the Syracuse University Athletic Directors Honor Roll five tiles, including each of her final four semesters.

Cross was also named to the Academic Dean's List three times before completing her bachelor's degree in Education in 2019.

In addition to her athletic and academic pursuits, Cross remained active in the community. Cross was organizing activities with the Orange's Team Impact teammate Maddy Hertweck, Cross also participated in a variety of activities with the Boys and Girls Club of Syracuse.
