I started playing lacrosse in 6th grade as a defender and my team needed a goalie. I gravitated towards the idea of the position and took it. Within the next few years I grew tremendously as a player and I decided to try out for my High School team as an 8th grader. I was recognized as the most valuable defender for my team. I am a member of the National Junior Honor Society, participated in my schools science research program, a member of the S.A.D.D. Club, Chess Club, and I am Vice President of my class. I volunteer at a local animal daycare and work with rescue dogs.
