Kaitlin Cochran

Profile
Kaitlin Cochran completed her second season with the University of Dallas women’s lacrosse team.

Both campaigns presented challenges with COVID-19, as she has combined to coach 13 games with five in her first year and eight in 2021. She is the ninth coach for the program. Cochran’s Crusaders were the third seed in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Tournament, which was hosted at UD.

Cochran had six Crusaders named to SCAC All-Conference Teams, including five freshmen in Gabby Dixon, Lizzy Elfelt, Sophia Haeuser, Maureen Riley, and Kathleen Rodda. Team MVP All-SCAC First Team player Emily Pauletti was the lone senior on the team and ranked fifth in the league for goals scored with 19.

Cochran previously worked at NAIA Life University in Marietta Georgia as a Volunteer Assistant Coach.

Cochran played collegiately with NCAA Division III Transylvania University. The Pioneers claimed their first postseason berth in the program's third season (2015) of existence with a trip to the Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) semifinals. They surged to a strong conference record in their first ORLC season with five straight victories in April. Cochran posted four goals, six ground balls, two draw controls, and one caused turnover that season.

Over the 2018 summer Cochran traveled to Los Angeles, California, where she served as the Program Director Intern with Harlem Lacrosse LA.
