Multi sport athlete (lacrosse, volleyball, track, Irish dance), strong lefty, team player, prepared and coachable, leader on the field, ready to play the sport I love :)
I started playing lacrosse when I was five. I have played with my club Coppermine since fifth grade. I have played on varsity at Towson High School since freshman year. I am also on the varsity volleyball team and run track in the winter. I am a strong draw specialist with the ability to adapt depending on my opponent. I am also left handed and a very strong dodger. At my school I am apart of the magnet program which specializes in law and public policy. In this law program I am a grade level representative and a member of the Magnet Executive Board. In addition to classes, I participate in the Best Buddies organization as well as OneLove and my schools Student Athlete Leadership Team. I am also the vice president of my class and a part of the English National Honor Society and French National Honor Society.

Coach Nugent
Even though volleyball isn't her main sport, you would never know it! Kara is an all around solid athlete with incredible court sense, natural athletic ability and a drive for self improvement. She's coachable, responsible, dependable and always has a positive attitude! Hard working team player-a joy to coach!

Kara is THE leader of this team who can and does play anywhere at any time. She knows how to use her size and natural left hand to her advantage. She is a tough, gritty player and can get any job done with respect and grace.

Kara is an extremely versatile player. She has great size and uses it to her advantage on both ends of the field. She is left hand dominant and isn't afraid to drive to the cage. She is also a great leader on and off the field.
