Gilbert will begin her coaching career as a Bulldog after an impressive collegiate career at Lock Haven. As a student-athlete at Lock Haven, Gilbert was a midfielder that scored 15 goals during her senior season in the spring of 2021.

Gilbert started in every game during the 2020 season. She scored nine goals and won 21 draw controls during a shortened season. The year before Gilbert would appear in four contests before coming down with an injury. She scored 12 goals over those four contests. In 2018 Gilbert started in 17 of 18 games and scored 23 goals. She was credited with 23 ground balls and 23 draw controls.

A native of Perkioenville, Pa., Gilbert graduated from Boyertown High School. She was part of three conference championships and was tabbed team MVP before attending Lock Haven.
