Kate Henwood founded the NXT Girls Lacrosse Club in 2015 and is currently the Executive Vice President of Girls Lacrosse at NXTsports.

She oversees all NXT Girls Lacrosse Tournaments, Showcases, Club, and Training/Educational programming.

A Garnet Valley ('01) and LaSalle ('05) alumna, Henwood coached the University of California-Davis Aggies for three seasons ('13-'15) after winning back-to-back state championships at Garnet Valley in her second and third seasons at the school. In her initial season at UC Davis, she led the Aggies to an upset of nationally-ranked conference rival Stanford.

Her Garnet Valley tenure ('10-'12) produced multiple All-Americans, brought the school its first two state titles and laid the foundation for what has become Pennsylvania's premier program. Prior to taking the helm at Garnet Valley, Henwood served as the top assistant and defensive coordinator at Villanova University ('07-'09), taught 8th grade social studies for 7 years at Garnet Valley, and earned her M.A. in American History from Villanova University.
