My name is Katie Bergen and I am a three-sport varsity athlete. I play varsity lacrosse (beginning as an 8th grader, 1st team all league & 2nd team all area for undefeated league championship team as a sophomore, honorable mention all conference as a freshman), soccer (2x honorable mention all conference), and basketball (key member of 2018 state championship team). I reached 100 career points & 100 career draw controls during my sophomore year. Selected as team captain as a rising junior. I work hard between the 30s and am an unselfish player. My coaches say I am gritty on ground balls, crafty in traffic, and speedy in the open field. I create scoring opportunities, work hard to win draw controls and cause turnovers. My freshman lacrosse season I started every game, was the third leading scorer on my team and was named honorable mention all area and all-league. I was also selected for the UA 150 in both 2018 & 2019. I have or am taking honors classes in English, Math, Physics, Chemistry and History.
