I attended the Anderson School in middle school, which is an accelerated/gifted and talented school. I was the captain of Varsity Soccer, Varsity Basketball, and Varsity Lacrosse in 8th grade. I was also a New York City All Star in middle school three times: twice for basketball and once for soccer. I had the most goals and assists on my school team at the midfield position in 8th grade. I also ski raced throughout elementary and middle school. During my time as a ski racer I was consistently in the top ten racers of New Jersey, at one point being 1st in New Jersey (NJSRA).
I attend the Marymount School of New York for high school. Marymount is a highly competitive, Independent School in NYC. I received the Marymount School Butler Scholarship (in recognition of scholastic achievement, leadership potential, and extracurricular involvement). As a freshman I took Honors Algebra II (the only honors course offered). As a sophomore, I am currently taking Honors Geometry, Honors American Literature, and Honors Chemistry (AP classes are not offered until junior year).
As a freshman, I played on Varsity Soccer, Varsity Basketball, and Varsity Lacrosse; I started all Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse games. I had the most assists on Varsity Lacrosse as a freshman and was consistently successful at taking the draw. I received the AAIS Lacrosse All Star Award in 2018. I was also named the Marymount School Varsity Lacrosse MVP in 2018. In the summer of 2018 I was selected for the Under Armour All America Uncommitted Team (CONNY).
I am a member of three clubs at my school: Athletic Committee, "La Mesa" (Spanish Club), and Social Events Club. Athletic Committee organizes the school store, our homecoming game, tournament games, pep rallies, and other events relating to athletics. "La Mesa" discusses current events in Latin American and other Spanish speaking countries. Social Events Club organizes school functions such as the Junior and Senior Proms.
Outside of school, I enjoy surfing, skateboarding, skiing, and learning ASL. I am a prolific reader, and read a wide range of books from fantasy novels to the classics. I also enjoy using the 3D printer and sticker-maker in the tech lab at Marymount.
