Katie McDonough

Katie McDonough has joined the LVC Women's Lacrosse coaching staff beginning in 2021.

“We are so excited to welcome Katie to our LVC family,” said head coach Rachel Perla. “Katie is so heavily involved in the lacrosse community and has many valuable experiences to draw from. She is a great fit for our team culture and is a tremendous addition to our staff and program.”

Prior to her time in Washington, D.C., McDonough spent a season as the defensive coordinator at Lycoming College.

The Oakdale, N.Y. native graduated from Lock Haven University with bachelor of science and master of science degrees. She was a three-year starting defender and was a 2018 team captain. She helped guide the Bald Eagles to a pair of National Championship games (2014, 2015) and two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships. Additionally, she was selected to participate in the 2018 IWLCA DII North-South Senior All-Star Game.
