Katrina Bottomley
Recruit Profile
I am a student of the game and play as often as I can, whether full-field, 5v5, or even clinics, every opportunity counts!
I started playing lacrosse the summer going into fourth grade. I had to play up on a seventh and eighth grade team because my age group did not have enough people for a team. I always wanted to play goalie, but because of my age and the team I was on, I played attack/ mid. I went to a high school camp over the summer and volunteered to play goalie as a fourth grader going against high school seniors. The next year my local team had enough for my age group and I started playing goalie. I instantly fell in love with the position and have played it ever since. I came to Summit August of my freshman year of high school. I have played club for a total of 5 years now. I played basketball until 8th grade. My goal to play college lacrosse at a school that is right for me. I am a 4.0 student in all honors classes. I put in as much work in school as I do on the field. I also love volunteering with my church and helping out in my community. I help freshman when they come into high school in a club called Creek Crew at my school.
