I have been playing lacrosse as a goalie since 4th grade and my passion for this sport has only continued to intensify. I improve and learn with every opportunity given and am a confident, accurate player with specialty in clearing, outlets and stopping shots right on the door step. I have always had very quick hands and stick skills.
I am a Varsity Goalie for Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, PA and we are the reigning PA State Champions! I also play for Philadelphia Freedom Red 2020 which is a high level travel team that is invited to the most competitive tournaments on the east coast. I play in winter lacrosse leagues, box lacrosse, goalie trainings, camps etc.. all year long and never get tired of it!
I have also played Varsity football for Shanahan since I was a sophomore. My positions include: long snapper, guard, center and outside linebacker. Wherever they need me, they know that I am versatile enough to be put in any position and be successful. I continue to participate in local food drives, Special Olympics, and events for my church, school and community. I visit our local Veterans and have the best time just talking with them and listening to their stories. I am one of 5 children consisting of me and my 4 sisters which has taught me a lot about communication, patience, compromise and undying love and support.
My academics continue to be at a high level and I have had Honors courses throughout all of high school. I have received numerous awards, honors and scholarships for the last three years. My weighted GPA is a 4.56 and I just took the SAT’s and have a 1450, 790 in math section. Mathematics is my strongest subject and I will be pursuing a business degree specializing in finance.
Being a lacrosse goalie is my passion and I love playing it every chance I get. I know I will be an asset to any college team that I have the opportunity to play for. I have learned valuable skill and life lessons, from my coaches, teammates, opponents, failures and successes, my family and definitely from myself. I realize as a goalie that I need to be extremely focused and dedicated on and off the field and I will.
