I can bring high-level athleticism to any college program. At 6'1" and 190 lbs, I'm bigger, stronger, faster, and in better shape than most varsity level lacrosse players. My athleticism comes from hard work. I go to the gym and lift heavy weights three times a week during the offseason and twice a week during the season. I also train with a program called Desert Speed School, which helps elite high school athletes in Tucson with speed and agility. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, I did the infamous P90X home workout program. Because of that hard work, I feel like I am one of the best athletes on the field every time I play.

I had very few opportunities to play organized sports before my sophomore year of high school. That year I moved to Arizona with my brother and his family. I decided to play lacrosse because I had been to a lacrosse clinic in Tucson a few years earlier. I joined the Oro Valley Lacrosse Club and started every game for their varsity team, getting by mostly on raw athleticism. I fell in love with the sport and have been working relentlessly to improve my technique, stick skills, and lacrosse IQ ever since. I use my rebounder; I have a set of drills I do with my brother at the park; I've practiced with Jay Mayes of Tucson Elite Lacrosse; and I drive to Phoenix twice a week to practice with Arizona Hot Sauce. By 2020, my junior year, I had a much easier time playing top-side defense, getting ground balls, forcing turnovers, and handling the ball on clears. I started every game, and our team was second in the Arizona Lacrosse League standings when COVID-19 cut the season short.

This summer I've continued to challenge myself by playing at showcases and practicing with Arizona Hot Sauce. Even against the best high school players in the country, I believe my athleticism stands out. My technique, stick skills, and lacrosse IQ are right there, and I am committed to becoming the best lacrosse player I can be.
