Greetings,

My Name is Keith Pemberton and I started playing lacrosse when I was 12 years old. I use my speed and agility to create transition, I am always after those tough gb’s and have an active stick when playing on ball defense. I am always trying to improve my game on the field by watching film and asking questions. My Freshman Year I started on the Varsity Team at LSM. Despite our season ending early due to COVID I was able to get game experience on the high school level and prepare myself for the rest of my high school career. In the 2021 Lacrosse Season the Forsyth Men’s Varsity Lacrosse Team won the NCISAA Divison 2 State Championship. I started on Varsity at close defense leading the team in ground balls and caused turnovers. I was awarded All State and All Conference at the end of the season. Academically, I was a Forsyth Scholar my Freshman Year (Top GPA Award). I Finished the school with All A’s while also taking taking a full Honors/AP Courseload. Sophomore Year I decided to challenge myself with AP Psychology and 4 Honors Classes finishing the Year with a 4.27 GPA while also being chosen as one of two sophomores leaders to represent Forsyth Country Day at the Hugh O’ Brian Youth Leadership Conference. In October of 2020 I took the PSAT and tested in the 93rd Percentile. In terms of extracurriculars I am part of the Student Advisory Council for Diversity and Inclusion, Social Issues Club, Special Olympics and Youth and Government where I was a top 25 policy maker and got my bill about climate change enacted into YAG law. I am very involved in Student Government; My Freshman Year I was elected as Grade Representative for 2020-2021 school year. My Sophomore Year I was Elected to be the Student Government Executive Advisory Representative for the 2021-2022 school year. Furthermore, I have served as a Student Ambassador for the past two years and will be leading one of the factions of new students in the upcoming school year. In terms of recognition I am a member of the National Spanish Honor Society and the National Art Honor Society. In College I am looking to major in Political Science/Government/International Relations/Public Policy.
